The HuaHin50 trail-running race is back on 17 January 2027, with 50 km, 25 km and 11 km routes through the Hua Hin hills and jungle, plus a 3 km family fun run the day before. Organised by Sports Republic Thailand; entry includes chip timing, insurance and a finisher shirt.
AIA One Billion Trail comes to Hua Hin in November

A trail-running event heads to the forested hills near the Klai Kangwon campus in Hua Hin on 21 November 2026, with a range of distances up to 50 km, run solo or as a four-person team. Health officials report a rise in dengue fever across Prachuap Khiri Khan this year, including the deaths of two young children, and have stepped up community fogging. Residents and visitors are urged to empty standing water weekly, use repellent, and see a doctor for any high fever lasting more than two days. Cases typically peak in the rainy season.

Bangkok Hospital Hua Hin is expanding — with a new building and a larger health-check and prevention centre — and is running a community 'Healthy Hua Hin' campaign in 2026 focused on preventive care, nutrition, mental well-being, heart health and road safety.
With dengue rising during the monsoon, empty standing water from pots, trays and containers every week, use mosquito repellent, and cover up at dawn and dusk when mosquitoes are most active. See a doctor for any high fever lasting more than two days.
Air quality in Hua Hin is generally at its best during the rainy season and worst from roughly February to April, when regional crop-burning pushes up PM2.5.
