Healthy Hua HinProjects
This site isn't here to make anyone rich. It's a small charity project: after the modest cost of hosting and the domain name, any money it earns goes back into local health and sport in Hua Hin. This page explains exactly how that works — and holds us to it.
How it works
- 1
You use the guides
Some of our pages — the supplement guides especially — link to shops like iHerb. If you buy something through one of those links, the price is exactly the same for you.
- 2
We earn a small commission
The shop pays us a small commission for the referral. That, plus any advertising, is the site's only income. We take no payment from the gyms, clinics or restaurants we list.
- 3
It funds local projects
After hosting and domain costs, what's left is spent on local health and sport initiatives — chosen and paid for openly, and listed on this page.
Where things stand today
We'll be straight with you: the site is new and nothing has been earned yet, so nothing has been funded yet. We're not going to pretend otherwise or claim sponsorships that haven't happened.
This page exists beforethere's any money to report, on purpose — so that when the first commission does come in, you can watch exactly where it goes. Every project we fund will be listed below, with the date and the amount.
Nothing to report yet — check back. The first entry will appear here.
What we want to support
These are the kinds of local projects the money will go towards. Think of them as our intentions, not a to-do list we've already ticked off.
Youth sport
Kit, pitch time and small sponsorships for local kids' football and other youth sport — keeping active kids active.
Beach & nature clean-ups
Backing the volunteers who keep Hua Hin's beaches and parks clean, so the places we all walk and swim stay worth it.
Cleaner air
Supporting community air-quality monitors and the push against seasonal crop-burning — the single biggest health issue here in the dry months.
First aid & CPR
Helping fund CPR and basic first-aid training, and public access to defibrillators — skills that save lives in the minutes before an ambulance arrives.
Why you can trust what you read here
Because no one here is trying to get rich, we have no reason to recommend a hospital, clinic, gym or product for any reason other than that it's genuinely good. We don't sell listings — a place appears here because it deserves to, not because it paid. When we're not sure about something, we say so.
Want to help?
The simplest way is to use the site — when you're buying supplements anyway, going through our guides costs you nothing and quietly builds the fund. Beyond that, if you know a local project worth backing, or you spot something on the site that's wrong or out of date, tell us with the Contribute button in the corner.
